Sermon: Press On Main text: Philippians 3:1-21 We will never lose our joy when our hope is secure. Beware of false hope - If we’re only living to look good, feel good, or have goods, then we will always miss what is best. Christ in you, the hope of glory - “But Christ has shown me that what I once thought was valuable is worthless ... all I want is to know Christ and the power that raised him to life.” (Philippians 3:7, 10) When I get my “one thing” right, it gives meaning and purpose to every other thing. Pressing on towards hope (Next Steps):

Look before you not behind you - Don’t glory in your success or stay stuck in regret ... get past your past.
Look beside you not around you - Hope is always given, so join with hopeful people ... be aware of those who live as “enemies of the cross”.
Look above you not over you - Our citizenship is in Heaven. Don’t let the temporary nature of earthly power cause you to forget whose you really are.
